Take Pride in your Town

'Take Pride in Falmouth' mission statement

Do litter-strewn, dirty, neglected, graffiti-covered streets and waterfronts spoil your enjoyment of Falmouth? This is the question we asked a year ago. Since then, much has been done to address these problems despite what you may read in the press. Seagull-proof bins, more bins, sponsored bins, regularised rubbish collections through the main street, information campaigns, research into the origins of marine-borne litter, a code of conduct for businesses, graffiti cleaning machine, partnership working. All of this has helped.

But we want to go further to make Falmouth better, a town fit for residents and tourists alike – a thriving town with streets that are clean and are safe to walk in. Our efforts continue, please help us to succeed. A little thought and a little action from each of us will make Falmouth look better and feel better. We all want a cleaner, safer, happier town. So take responsibility – Take Pride in Falmouth.
