Lighting the way for Santa

Provision of Christmas lights in Falmouth Town Centre

The Town Centre Manager working with Falmouth Chamber of Commerce and with the financial support of Falmouth Town Council has employed a professional contractor to put up, take down, maintain and store the Christmas lights. With the support of local businesses new lights have been purchased together with an upgrade of the electrical infrastructure.

This year we have committed to replace the support wires in Market Street at a cost of approximately £1500.00 and we would like to put up some displays in the High Street. All of this will depend on donations and fund raising which the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce help to organise. To date over the last two years the Chamber of Commerce has raised in excess of £20,000 with the match funding from the Falmouth Town Council.
